I'm here right now in the ADOC Training Laboratory of the CICT/NCC in Diliman. I'm making this post using Firefox, running on Ubuntu.
This Advanced E-Commerce Training Course is organized by Janette Toral.
We'll be starting in a few minutes...
Marc Macalua gave a talk on Landing Pages and Conversions. Learned about online form refinements as well as the new battlefield in SEO. I also liked his Powerpoint presentation, and will probably adopt that format in future presentations.
Now listening to Aileen Apolo speak about Launching an Internet Advertising campaign and Website Metrics Monitoring. We've just had a walkthrough of Google Adwords, and now we're tackling Google Analytics.
For the last portion of today's training, Janette will tackle blog marketing.

It's only a few more weeks until September 29, when we'll find out who'll win the Isulong Seoph contest organized by Marc Macalua's SEOPhilippines.org
It all started in June 2006, and a lot of people cranked out creative ways of getting more visitors to your site in their quest to rank number #1 in the search engines for the phrase "isulong seoph."
A number of those contestant-artists have already given up, since their site is no where near page 1.
I was initially encouraged, since the Isulong SEOPH Podcast at InMyEar.com site landed in page 1, but after adding eight articles, the site crashed to page 5 of the search engine results. After two months of inactivity, I got surprised to find out it's now on page 3.
Is there still hope to even reach the Top 10? We'll see. =)
